Dreams in a Glass Box is a one-woman creative business run by me, Kirsty, a teacher of 14 years with a background in design and a lifelong love of making.

The name was inspired by the wee glass studio in my garden which for the past six years has been my creative escape, seeing everything from sewing and woodwork to signwriting.

​

I’m passionate about helping people find their creativity, reclaim skills we once relied on and understand how the things around us are made. Sewing became a way for me to rediscover my own style after having my daughter, a form of expression, escape and a reminder that bodies change and our clothes can change with them.

 

Dreams in a Glass Box is about making, mending, experimenting and creating things that reflect your personal style.
