Unless otherwise stated you need absolutely nothing! Just yourself. All materials, equipment and everything you need for the workshop will be provided. Just turn up ready to make something.I will always make it clear when booking if anything else is needed (sewing machines and equipment always included).

Workshops are currently for adults aged 18 and over. But I would love to offer creative workshops for teens in the future! Hoping to introduce some new sessions in the new year, so watch this space.

Absolutely! You don’t need any previous sewing experience. Classes are designed to be friendly, relaxed and beginner-friendly, with guidance throughout. To attend a garment class you will need to first attend a beginners sewing class. The sewing level will be clearly displayed for the garment classes and if you are not sure which level you are at, just get in touch.

Of course! There will always be an element of customisation within the workshops, giving you the opportunity to adapt the project, experiment and push your skills a little further.

Yes! Private group workshops can be arranged whether I come to your space or you come to me. Get in touch through the contact form and we can chat about what you have in mind.

Yes. I currently offer bespoke one-to-one sessions from The Glass Box. These can be tailored around what you’d like to learn, whether that’s getting to grips with your sewing machine, making a particular project or developing a specific skill. Get in touch and we can have a chat about what you’re looking for.

Group workshops are currently held at Solus: holistic's wonderful multi-use space in Burntisland. One-to-one sessions are delivered in The Glass Box!

Nope! Sewing machines and all other equipment needed for the workshops are provided.
